Patricia O'Keefe Hutton has been a resident artist at Beacon Hill Studios since 1992, focusing on sculptural basketry, oil painting, and a variety of other art forms, including ceramics, bookbinding, collage and mosaics. Patricia has been teaching art to children and adults for the past twenty three years.
Teaching Experience:
1993 - Present - Arbor Montessori School, Decatur, Georgia
Teaching visual art to children in grades one through eight at Atlanta's oldest Montessori school.
1993 - Present - Beacon Hill Studios, Decatur, Georgia
Teaching a variety of art classes and workshops to adults and children.
2001 - 2003 - Movement, Meditation & Making Workshop
Lead a year-long workshop for women, where the spaciousness of meditation and an awareness of the body were brought to the creative process.

Organized local artist to raise awareness of the Greenspace Initiative in the City of Decatur.
1996 - The World Wall for Peace
One of a group of core members responsible for implementing and erecting a 12 foot by 40 foot exterior mosaic created by over 1,600 individuals and dedicated to World Peace.
1991 - "Inspired by Trees"
Curator of an art exhibit sponsored by The City of Atlanta. The exhibit featured the work of artists who's work is inspired by trees and was held in conjunction with the city's Arbor Day celebration.
1989 - 1991 - Decatur Children's Art Festival
Chairperson. Organized volunteers and professional artists to create a day of hands-on art experiences, performing arts, and demonstrating artists for the children of Decatur.
1988 - 1989 - Decatur Arts Festival, Co-Chair
Supervised all aspects of the Decatur Arts Festival, including an Artists Market, Visual Art Show, Children's Art, and continuous live entertainment.
